Hydraulic Pump Demonstrator - This hydraulic pump demonstrator incorporates a clear plastic reservoir, liquid filled vacuum and pressure gauges, flow meter and loading valve. The pump is a variable volume, pressure compensated vane type pump driven by a 1.5 hp electric motor. Also installed is an amp meter to monitor motor current. This pump demonstrator is used to illustrate features of a properly designed hydraulic reservoir. The pump inlet piping includes a clear plastic section of pipe, a restricting valve and an air bleed valve; these devices are used to demonstrate the audio and visual effects of pump cavitation. Electro-Pneumatic Trainer
Electro-Pneumatic Trainer - This integrated hands-on training aid has the same features as our basic pneumatic trainer plus it introduces students to the principles of electro-pneumatic devices and interfaces. An extensive lab manual is supplied to provide a complete and practical introduction to both basic pneumatic and electro-pneumatic technology. This training aid has a small PLC installed that is used to demonstrate sequential control of one, two or three pneumatic cylinders. The cylinders are fitted with magnetic reed switches to provide end-of-stroke position signals to the PLC. All the major components are permanently mounted which eliminates the potential for lost, misplaced, and damaged items. All pneumatic connection are made with various lengths of plastic tubing and push-to-connect fittings in each of the components. All electrical connections are low voltages and are made with the patch cords provided.....
