Description:	General Cycle Air Con Trainer With Reserve Cycle - This trainer introduces the student to the basics of refrigeration and air conditioning and the principles involving reverse cycle systems. The reverse cycle process is a key element in heat pumps and is also a technique used for defrosting evaporators. The trainer is a completely self contained and fully operational unit that includes the basic components found in many refrigeration and air conditioning systems. FEATURES: The trainer is built around a special workbench that incorporates a demonstration board onto which the components are mounted. The components are neatly laid out in a manner similar to the refrigeration circuit so as to be easy to understood. The refrigeration circuit is displayed on a colorful silk-screened diagram. A number of special controls, meters and transparent view ports have been provided in order to set up and monitor a variety of experiments. Refrigeration lines are color coded to indicate the state of the refrigerant. This bench may be optionally mounted on wheel (W) for mobility. The unit comes with instruction manual and student job sheets. COMPONENTS AND SYSTEMS INCLUDE: A hermetically sealed compressor, forced air condenser, forced air evaporator, 2 pressure gauges (high and low), thermostatic expansion valve (TXV), two sight glasses, accumulator, filter/dryer, starter control, high pressure switch, low pressure switch, 2 hand valves. Instrument panel with system controls, voltmeter and amp meter. The reverse cycle process is available with two alternative control systems. The RBA-RCT-1 features manually operated hand valves (set of 4 hand valves).
